![]() ![]() Am I missing this function somewhere in the program? Is it possible that you are already working on this? Most of my theory class for non-music majors uses MuseScore and this is quite problematic. Choose time signature, tempo, pickup measure, and number of measures. The easiest solution would be to be able to delete measures outright. While sometimes this is desirable, it is possible to being any piece with pick-up notes and end with a complete measure. Yes, it's possible to highlight all the material and then one by one enter new bar lines, but there's still an incomplete measure at the end. Yes, this used to work in Musescore 3.x and. ![]() The one with the highlighted measures is pre-cut & paste the one with successive measures shows the issue I'm describing. Add to measure number is set to -1 Unlike when importing it into M3.6.2, which behaves correctly here: Exclude from meeasure count it ticked Add to measure number is set to 0 Screenshots/Screen recordings. ![]() Then I thought to cut and paste material, but MuseScore makes it so that the shortened measure adjusts for rhythm duration content and now the measures are off. Attempting to add the extra beat to complete the measure is also not possible. I've found that the delete function merely clears notation in measures, replacing anything entered with a whole rest. If the user could simply delete this incomplete measure, OR could add an extra beat to it, there would be no problem. Yes, it is possible to insert a new bar line so that there is a pick-up note (or notes), but the resulting empty bar is incomplete, despite the fact that it now contains a whole rest in it. It has 4 and I can't figure out how to change that. The final 4/4 measure should only contain 2 beats. In 4/4 meter, I have a 2-beat pickup measure. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I cannot find it addressed in the handbook. Creation of pick-up note(s)/anacruses is problematic. I am using MuseScore 2.0 under Windows 7. If you wish to add a pickup measure before the first measure, insert a measure stack at the beginning of your piece (select the first measure and choose Edit >. To insert a measure select the first measure of the score and press Insert or right click the first measure and select insert one measure. ![]()
